Currently there is no law that prevents in-person showings, however, OREA urges that all in-person showings be stopped and replaced with virtual showings during Ontario’s State of Emergency.
As community leaders, Ontario REALTORS® need to do their part in protecting the health and safety of their clients and the general public. OREA continues to encourage REALTORS® to work with clients to use technology that facilitates remote interactions wherever possible – for example, virtual showings, video conference calls and digital signing.
